Among rocks and northern winds, Rodebay’s church, also the village’s tiny school, welcomes Sunday hymns and the voices of its few children. In this fishing village of only a few dozen inhabitants, silence is guaranteed for both worship and lessons, all beneath an Arctic sky of almost unreal blue.
