The Nusfjord harbor
Nusfjord is one of the oldest and best preserved fishermen village of Norway. It is located on the Lofoten Islands and administratively belongs to the municipality of Flakstad. Nusfjord has been designated by UNESCO in 1975 as a pilot project to preserve the traditional Norwegian architecture.
Nusfjord is currently not inhabited permanently but rather a museum. It is still possible to stay in a traditional rorbu.
