Kabelvag is a village in the municipality of Vagan in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the southern shore of the island of Austvagoya in the Lofoten archipelago. Kabelvag lies about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the southwest of the town of Svolvaer, the administrative centre of Vagan municipality. The 1.18-square-kilometre (290-acre) village has a population (2017) of 1,929. The population density in 2013 was 1,469 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,800/sq mi).
